LOS ANGELES, Oct. 17, 2007 -- City National Corporation , the parent company of wholly owned City National Bank, today reported third-quarter 2007 net income of $60.1 million, or $1.22 per share, up from $59.0 million, or $1.20 per share, for the third quarter of 2006.
