LOS ANGELES, July 18, 2007 -- City National Corporation , the parent company of wholly owned City National Bank, today reported second-quarter 2007 net income of $59.2 million, or $1.19 per share, up from $58.7 million, or $1.16 per share, for the second quarter of 2006.
